They won! They won! They won!!!!!!
Wow, I was on the edge of my seat the entire game. It's the playoffs, they call it "tournament". Todays winning team is the one to go to the championship game next week.
The score was 5 to 4. Storm was winning by one point.
It was the last inning. Storm was up to bat first, the other team struck everyone out. Now, it's the bottom of the last inning, the other team is up to bat. If they scored one point it would be tied (overtime). If they scored 2 they would win.
Storm got two outs. Bases loaded. The other team hadn't yet scored, so it was still 5to 4. Their batter hit the ball straight to Storms short stop. Their third base guy runs in to home. Short stop throws the ball to first base (Andrew). It was a strong and fast ball to first base, but short. Andrew had to s-t-r-e-t-c-h and catch the ball in an awkward position. It landed right in his glove! He was still touching first base! He got the 3rd out and the other team didn't score!!! Andrews team won!!!!!! Championship, here they come!!!! Wow.... Andrews team has two first place trophies. We didn't think they'd come this far, this is their first year in the Minors and they are the youngest team.
Can you believe I didn't get any of it on film?!?
